Nike reported fiscal third-quarter earnings that exceeded market expectations due to strong demand from North American consumers returning to stores. Nike's revenue rose 5% YOY to $10.87 billion; net income was $1.4 billion, compared with $1.45 billion a year earlier. Sales in North America, the largest market in the quarter, rose 9 percent, while sales in China, the third largest market, fell 5 percent YOY.
$adidas AG(ADDYY)$
Adidas released financial results showing a decline in profit and revenue in the first quarter of 2022. The company reported sales of 5.3 billion euros (about $5.63 billion) in the first quarter, down 3% from a year ago at constant exchange rates. Sales in China declined 35%, offsetting growth in North America and EMEA. Operating profit fell to 437 million euros from 704 million euros in the same period a year earlier.
$Skechers USA(SKX)$
U.S. sports and leisure brand SKECHERS reported first quarter 2022 results. Quarterly sales of $1.82 billion, compared to $1.434 billion in the same period of the previous year. Quarterly net income of $121 million, compared with net income of $98.6 million in the same period of the previous year.
$Lululemon Athletica(LULU)$
Lululemon Athletica announced results for the first quarter of its fiscal year ended May 1, 2022. Quarterly net revenue was $1.613 billion, compared to $1.226 billion in the prior year quarter. Quarterly net income was $190 million, compared to net income of $145 million in the prior year period.
$Under Armour Class A(UAA)$
Under Armour announced results. loss of $59.6 million in the first quarter of 2022, compared with a profit of $77.7 million in the same period last year; sales increased 3% to $1.3 billion. Apparel sales rose 8%, footwear sales fell 4% and accessories revenue fell 18%.
$Dick's Sporting Goods(DKS)$
Dick's Sporting Goods announced financial results for the three months ended April 30, 2022. Net income for the quarter was $260.6 million, compared to $361.8 million in the year-ago period, a decline of 27.97%. Sales declined approximately 8% to $2.7 billion from $2.92 billion in the prior-year period.

The TJX Companies, Inc. announced results for the first quarter of its fiscal year ended April 30, 2022. Quarterly net sales were $11.406 billion, compared to $10.087 billion in the prior-year period. Quarterly net income was $587 million, compared to net income of $534 million in the prior year period.
$Gap(GPS)$
GAP Group reported results for the first quarter ended April 30, 2022. Quarterly sales declined 13% year-over-year to $3.5 billion, with online sales down 17% year-over-year and store sales down 10% year-over-year. The quarterly net loss was $162 million. For the reporting period, Old Navy revenue declined 19% to $1.8 billion; Gap revenue declined 11% to $791 million; Banana Republic revenue increased 24% to $482 million; and Athleta revenue increased 4% to $360 million.
$VF Corp(VFC)$
U.S. apparel and footwear giant VF Corporation announced its fourth quarter and full-year fiscal year 2022 financial results. For the three months ended April 2, 2022, VF Corporation reported revenue of $2.8 billion, up 9 percent year-over-year. VEF's full-year revenue reached $11.8 billion, an increase of 28% year-over-year. By brand, Vans had revenue of $4.16 billion, The North Face had revenue of $3.26 billion, and Timberland and Dickies had revenue of $1.82 billion and $840 million, respectively.

Nike fundamentals remain strong despite production issues in China. Nike is also market leader in sports shoe and apparel. Its recent stock price pullback is a good time to bargain hunt.
