Do you actually vote at the AGM? If not, as long as both move in tandem - the cheapest would be the best as the ROI is higher

With a 20-to-1 stock split in July 2022, likely will be at around $170 per share

GOOG & GOOGL are stock tickers for Alphabet, the parent company. The main difference is GOOG shares have no voting rights while GOOGL shares do. Only the major shareholders have the voting rights.

If you don't mind having no voting rights, you might opt for GOOG on which it is usually slightly cheaper:)

Just buy whichever is cheaper when you are going to buy. “Voting” is just a “right” whether it makes a difference is another story

It just means the split stocks are cheaper for investors to buy. Fundamentals still apply.

Class A allow you to have voting rights. Else there's not other difference.
