this is quite scary. markets will dip sharply on such news, cos of the fear of the fed hikes! it adds strength to the argument that interest rates must increase

hope that this is not too little, too late. with current 7.5% inflation, more interest rates hike may be required

Trump's crazy pro-cyclical econ policies & easy-to-win trade wars, exacerbating the earlier pre-Trump Fed actions to save jobs, is coming home to roost. Hopefully a soft mkt landing can be managed

There was this ongoing prediction whether the fed hike would be 25 or 50. Looks like the hike could be 50.

Fed has telegraphed their intent for slow gradual hikes. Current lvls of US gov debt wont allow the feds to go too aggresively, but there is potential for small surprise.

if JB says 50 basis pt, then the market is reacting to it.
later on when fed raises 25 basis point, market rebounds more :)

We are looking at increase in interest rates by the US Central Bank to quell inflation cause by many factors like supply chain.

Is unlikely to be 50bp as besides IR, there are lots of other causes for inflation hike especially at such a time. More to analyse. 👍🏻
