I believe that this is a buying opportunity. I have added to my position for $TENCENT(00700)$. 

I see this as a parallel situation with the US' stand on the Russia-Ukraine conflict. On the account of supporting democracy and the sovereignty of individual countries, the US has to make a statement by allowing Nancy to visit Taiwan. However, let's not forget that Biden is also looking to working more with China for the country's own economy. As it is, the sanctions on Russia has driven inflation and US is not spared from it. I doubt it can agitate China by imposing any real sanctions that will also affect the country's inflationand Biden's political popularity.

It is in the interest of the US to continue working with the Chinese for their own economy. China also would want to avoid war. The Chinese are typically good businessmen. Going to war won't benefit them. Therefore, I believe that the stocks wont be delisted.

Even if they are delisted, the market in China is bigger than the US. So, no fear here! in any case, at most be available as OTC stock. The pain will be bigger for the US if the stocks get delisted than for the Chinese.
