Tiger Vault, Great or Grey?

Looking at the recent launches with Tiger vault, I get excited about the possibilities that it has. Simultaneously, I get concerned about what I might have missed.

Great stuff

Well there's the claim of a 2.6% interest which sounds a bit exciting considering that bank rates are at 0.05%. Additionally Tiger is throwing in coupons for additional gains. There's also the auto sweep feature which ensures that money is invested always in Tiger.

Grey side

However do note that claims have not been reviewed by MAS. Also, should you place all your cash with Tiger, there's concentration risk and the risk *touch wood* that if Tiger vaporises, a certain portion might go as well. Aside, mutual funds that are being invested in are neverguaranteed plus historical gains are never an indication of future gains.

So how?

I am still a noob for mutual funds. So I will do my best to read up more before I place my money in. If I should choose to place in any sum, it'll only be a token amount.

Aside, I am keen to find out from you, what's the pro and cons of this method? If things sound too good to be true, they often are.

Let me know!

Meanwhile, here's how people respond to work in 3 different phases. Which one are you? [Sly]

I think it boils down to how much excess cash you have? How liquid you want your available cash to be? Is there better opportunities in the market vs out of the market? Which stage of life you are in?

My consideration would be can I get more than 2.6% returns from investing in other ways? If no, then Tiger Vault be a good investment? Love your photos🤣🤣🤣
