It is a win win situation for $Alibaba(BABA)$ by splitting the company which is not making money bear their own profit/losses and the one making more money will have higher valuation in future. However how they will allocate the stock and what the value ? We have to wait and see. If investors have trust in Jack Ma, then BABA and group will be fine. This is what we hope, the best for BABA. 

@TWJ84 bulish on GOOGL (6 April): + 3.39% 

Tech companies like $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ will continue to lead the way in the longer term simply because of what they bring to the world and the problems they solve. No other industry in the world can even come close. Because of this, the best tech companies are capable to branching over to other industries and disrupt them in a positive and significant way.
