CYTO Good 16.5% Gain in Pre-market Before CPI

Please find and follow my YT channel (nerdbull1669) for Daily SG and US Stock Watchlist.

Do follow me as I share quality stock pick for Daily Watchlist.

CPI data expected to be released at 0830hrs on 12 April, A.I. model predicted $Altamira Therapeutics Ltd.(CYTO)$ along with BBAI and RCLF with a BUY signal.

It is nice to have approx. 16.5% gain in pre-market on a day where market is rather flat while awaiting the CPI data, and turn volatile after the minutes meeting later in the session.

I decided to look at these 3 stocks when pre-market started to see if we can gather any sentiment of investors towards to the release of CPI.

Pre-Market Trading Movement

If you have look at how the pre-market trading movement is like, it is rather slow on the Big Tech, most of the movement seem to be on small-caps or therapeutics.

I decided to monitor CYTO in the 1st 10mins of pre-market, it open above $2, and it would be not a good choice to enter at that time, so I decided to wait out to see it drop, I decided to enter around $1.99.

True enough, it was pretty near the pre-market low price of $1.96.

Enter At Pre-Market

I was using Trading View Bull Bear strength to determine if we are seeing Bull strength in the premarket.

As you can see even though price has dropped from the initial opening high in pre-market, the Bull strength is still maintaining consistently.

I decided to make a 30 cents gain for this quick trade to take advantage before monitoring how the U.S. CPI data would turn out.

Exit At Pre-Market

So I exit within 10 mins in pre-market with quite a happy gain of 16.5%. This would help to confirm my understanding and assessment that the price did go low when market open at 0930hrs

And it did hit its High at $2.49, but that did not make any more high above $2.30 in actual session.

Considering that the indexes was volatile and close in the red for the day, sometimes it might be a good idea to look for trade opportunities even in pre-market.

Summary

Sometimes when we are expecting an important event or announcement before actual session opening, it might also help in looking at the pre-market movement.

There might be opportunities which might help us to gain if we have our trading plan and strategy ready. I always believe to stick to our own trading style. (including tools and methods to assess our trade).

Appreciate if you could share your thoughts in the comment section on what are your thoughts on trading in pre-market before an important economic data announcement? Would you think it can be applied for all important economic data announcement?

I would think the data has paved a good Bull rally to come.

The pre-market movement may decide what will be in a whole day.

from my observation so far and what my A.I. model have picked up, there are some stocks who might gap down once actual market opens.

you can check out some scanners and they do have some settings that can help to filter pre-market movement, one example is Trading View, I incorporate it into my A.I. model.
