Not Only Nvidia, ChatGPT Craze Also Driven AI-related Stocks C3.AI & BAIDU

The rise of ChatGPT

If you have not heard of Open AI's ChatGPT, this is probably one of the things that took the world by storm in 2022 and one of the most exciting innovations seen in the past few years.

ChatGPT is able to interact with users in a conversational manner, with the dialogue format meant to allow for further questions, admitting of mistakes and rejecting of users' requests if inappropriate.

Let's see what ChatGPT evaluating Fed Chairman Powell's performance

After reading ChatGPT's response, I'm not surprised why the school would ban ChatGPT. It would be perfectly fine as the most well-prepared outline for an essay.

Contributing to the gains has been the hype around the ChatGPT released by OpenAI which has demonstrated an uncanny capacity to mimic human writing. The more people use ChatGPT, the more computational power its owner OpenAI needs to generate responses to the millions of queries it receives from users.

The biggest winner in the AI industry

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ has had a multi-year partnership with OpenAI, which includes a $1 billion investment.

OpenAI has had a multi-year partnership with Microsoft, which includes a $1 billion investment in OpenAI. The partnership with Microsoft is designed to help OpenAI develop a platform that will bring new technologies to the field of artificial intelligence. Through OpenAI's partnership with Microsoft, OpenAI uses Nvidia's A100 GPUs in order to train and run ChatGPT.

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$: When OpenAI ramps up computing power and will likely bolster demand for Nvidia chips.

NVIDIA has 80% market share in AI processing, according to Omedia. NVIDIA GPUs are widely used in the AI and machine learning community due to their high performance and support for CUDA, a parallel computing platform and programming model for NVIDIA GPUs. As a result, OpenAI primarily uses NVIDIA GPUs (graphics processing units) for training and running its AI models, such as GPT-3 and ChatGPT.

$Citigroup(C)$ estimated that rapid growth in ChatGPT usage could result in sales for Nvidia of $3 billion to $11 billion over 12 months.

Whether or not ChatGPT itself results in higher orders for Nvidia, ChatGPT's success will fuel the development of more tools that will require greater computing power and more chips. It also means that ChatGPT explodes, but the first to profit from it are the more bottom-line computing companies.

$C3.ai, Inc.(AI)$ is an artificial intelligence software suite provider and has the success of ChatGPT to thank for its recent stock surge.

Shares soared roughly 28% on Tuesday alone on news that it would integrate ChatGPT into its product suite.

"The C3 Generative AI Product Suite integrates the latest AI capabilities from organizations such as Open AI, Google, and academia, and the most advanced models, such as ChatGPT and GPT-3 into C3 AI's enterprise AI products," C3.ai said in a Tuesday press release.

$Baidu(BIDU)$$BIDU-SW(09888)$ Chinese internet search major Baidu Inc is planning to launch an AI chatbot service similar to ChatGPT

Chinese internet search major Baidu Inc is planning to launch an artificial intelligence chatbot service similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT in March. The technology firm plans to launch the service as a standalone application and gradually merge it into its search engine.

ChatGPT's technology works by learning from vast amounts of data how to answer prompts by users in a human-like manner, offering information like a search engine or even prose like an aspiring novelist.

Chatbots in China currently focus on social interaction whereas ChatGPT performs better at more professional tasks, such as programming and essay writing. Baidu plans to incorporate chatbot-generated results when users make search requests, instead of only links.
