I think "Caught up in a down trend" is worse for me because I bought $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ at $300 all because of my friend telling me to buy. I lost two-thirds of everything and felt so depressed when I kept looking at the red numbers.
It was a very painful lesson that I need to do my own analysis and not be swayed by my friend.
