President Joe Biden declared "Kyiv stands strong" as he marked nearly one year of Russia's invasion of Ukraine with a speech in Poland. His remarks came a day after he made a surprise trip to the Ukrainian capital.
In Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he is suspending participation in New START — the only remaining major nuclear arms control treaty with the US — and sought to blame the West for the Ukraine conflict during his state of the nation speech.
