BTC & ETH prices on 02 Dec 2022 5pm SGP time

Were you surprised by the subject title ? I was and to be honest, had initially thought that it was all a click-bait kinda article.

Honestly, who have not jumped into the cryptocurrency arena and "talked" about Bitcoin (BTC). A lot of people have, including mr musk.

He has single-handedly speculated Dogecoin (price)  and Bitcoin to the stratosphere.

At one point, BTC was even as "legal tender" for Tesla EV purchase.

Thanks to mr blabber mouth, his fans followed him and bought into both crypto-currencies at a "high".

Now they are are caught between the Devil and the Deep Blue sea no ?

No sympathy for them who relied on "blind faith" and did not perform their due diligence.

What was even worse, mr musk had offloaded 75% of his Bitcoin by end 2021, leaving behind those who who trialled after him.

Coming back to the subject proper, do you concur with Investment guru - Mr Mark Mobius's view ?

His argument is sound. Why ? Its because I had posted about the co-relation between BTC and stock's price on 9th Oct 2022.

I am certain that anyone who have invested in BTC would (very much) want to doubt what Mr Mobius is postulating.  I would too if I had bought into BTC when its at its peak or anywhere around there.

Afterall, BTC as at 5pm Sgp time today (02 Dec) was floating just above $16,976. having been bouncing around the $15,000 level for the longest time.  Surely that's a sign that things are looking bright for BTC again,  no ?

If one takes a moment, sit down and think rationally, his argument holds water because :

  • Interest rate's upper limit have been "fine tuned" from initial 4% to now 5% as mentioned by the Fed
  • Whether the upper limit will be "breached" depends on the following months - statistical reports eg. CPI, PCE, Job Employment, PMI Quarterly earnings reports etc..
  • Make no mistake, interest rate will continue to bubble up - that course is fixed.  The only variables are when (frequency) and how much (next hike %)

Even if the prediction looks "far-fetched" at the moment, one thing that I have learnt is never shut off one's ears & one's mind to what "experts / veterans" have to say

There is definitely something that one could learn from someone with a tried and tested - success track record and background.

Of course, when it comes to learning - need to be discerning and pick whom to :

  • listen, think, adapt & grow from their wisdom
  • listen as gossip and forgetabout it thereafter
  • ignore at all costs.  You should know who falls under this category... LOL.

Now its time to hear what you have to say.  Leave a Comment in the below section ok.  Thanks, I am ready.... LOL.

Give a "Like" ok.  Thanks in advance.  The rating is important to me.

Matching song ?  Listen to your heart by Roxette.  Beautiful (soft rock ?) ballad.  Dunno ?  YouTube it.
