After the market rallied on better than expected Oct CPI & PPI data, several Fed officials have stepped out to warn the market that rates hikes are not over yet & terminal rates may need to be increased to 5-5.25%, quenching the 🐂 rally. Following which, Beijing said on 21/11(Mon) it would shut businesses and schools in hard-hit districts and tighten rules for entering the city, as infections ticked higher, sending fears that 🇨🇳 could resume stricter measures to fight COVID-19 after it said it faces its most severe test of the pandemic. Cautious investors interpret these information that the idea of soft-landing may be once again challenged and that market recovery for chip & Chinese stocks could not proceed as hoped…Chip & Chinese stocks faced sell-off again…$Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ $AMD(AMD)$ $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ $Alibaba(BABA)$ $Bilibili Inc.(BILI)$ 

Trading volume was low on 21/11, 9.43 billion shares, compared with the 11.88 billion average for the full session over the last 20 trading days. Trading volume is expected to lessen towards the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, and reduced trading hours on Friday, leaving markets more prone to volatility.

🤔💭My Thoughts:

‼️ Investors now await the release of minutes from the Fed's Nov meeting on 23/11(Wed), which has great influence to send the markets down📉📉📉or up📈📈📈

⚠️ Traders are widely betting on a 50bps hike in the Dec, with a peak for rates expected in June. Any deviation in the meeting minutes from this will cause a market sell-off.
