The First Anti-ESG ETF, any surprise?

ESG, in the traditional concept, can be understood as whether an enterprise has the value of sustainable development, because it includes three points, Environment, Social and Governance.

These three aspects, to some extent, are mutually exclusive, especially when "environmental" and "corporate governance", it seems that nothing has been said.

For example,$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ is the representative of new energy, but its ESG score is average, because its S and G scores are not too high. However, $Exxon Mobil(XOM)$ rank at the first tier of ESG companies, thanks to the influence of "S" and "G".

The level of money donated by a company can also affect the score of ESG, and make ESG itself impure. No wonder Elon Musk join the anti-ESG club.

Wall Street is also very deviant. Knowing that there are many people who don't like ESG, they set up an "anti-ESG ETF" named "God Bless America" ETF with a very ironic code, YALL (You All)$God Bless America ETF(YALL)$

After two days of listing, the volatility is not too great, and the turnover is also very average.

The ETF is run by Toroso Investments, a little-known company, with Curran Financial Partners as a sub-adviser. In the prospectus, it wrote like this

The fund excludes companies that emphasize political left and/or liberal political activism in their evaluations at the expense of maximizing shareholder returns.

Among YALL's major positions,$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$,$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$$Amgen(AMGN)$They are the top three Awkwardness stocks, and these three companies are also politically neutral companies.

Of course, YALL is not the first ETF with obvious political theme. When Trump took office that year, there was an American priority ETF of Point Bridge, America First ETF$Point Bridge GOP Stock Tracker ETF(MAGA)$The abbreviation of its code is also the campaign slogan of "Make America Great Again".

In addition, there are the main positions of the Democratic PartyDemocratic Policies Fund$(DEMS)$And the main position of the Republican Party Republican Policies Fund$(GOP)$
