The Company primarily operates its businesses through two segments. Power and Heat Generation segment is mainly engaged in the operation of power plants through subsidiaries, generating electric power and heat for sale to external power grid companies, investing in power plants through joint ventures and associates. Other segment is mainly involved in aluminum smelting, coal mining and treatment of flyash and others. The Company's power generation business mainly focuses on thermal power, hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaics. The Company mainly conducts its businesses in the domestic market.
