I closed 5 lot(s) $SE 20240517 45.0 PUT$  ,>90% profit decided to take profit and split the strangle. Leaving the call. Rationale for doing so is that sea is by nature volatile. As earnings is coming next week, there will be increased volatility and options premiums. Holding both calls and puts will reduce the gains that I can gain through increase in options premiums. Day before earnings, I will close the call and add the premiums for this put and that call and reopen a strangle with higher options premiums. Forming a new credit position.

I closed $TSLA 20240531 220.0 CALL$  ,TSLA: closed the 2 covered call on TSLA with 93% max premium. Total premium collected was 1.6% for 9 days of contract and closed this 23 days ahead of expiry so the trade idea was a good one. TSLA spiked up 15% after Mr. Elon China visit and FSD approval with its local partner. With no real projection of monetisation or timeline, I took up a bearish bias on the news and sold the covered call. TSLA had came back down 12% off the peak since then therefore allowing me to secure these profit ahead of time.

Stochastic seems to show signs of moving away from the oversold region. I think the probably of price going up is there. Hence, opened this trade with the strike price at $300.

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$  Currently over priced. Market was betting on exceptional stella results but earning was as per expected very good but not superb which was demonstrated but the correction back down. Still overvalued comparing earnings vs stock price, albeit a great company with excellent growth. I still hold on to the belief that it is difficult to scale today with current products due to the niche industry that can adopt this technology, complexity of implementation and high cost. Waiting for a new mass market product from pltr.

April is a good month for me. Easy money from aggressively selling baba itm vertical and strike super far away otm Tesla vertical. Those are counters with high premium which you can do iron condor
