Ireit REIT is currently trading at 0.420, while the rights are priced at a discounted rate of 0.405. As a lucky investor, I was granted 650 rights to purchase shares at this enticing discount of 0.015. It was an offer that couldn't be ignored, and I eagerly took part in the action. Filled with enthusiasm, I applied for an excess of 2000 shares through the rights issue. Looking back, I can't help but wonder if I should have gone for even more – perhaps 3000 or 4000 shares. But hey, that's the thrill of investing – sometimes we realize missed opportunities only in hindsight

Let's talk about the icing on the cake – dividends! Ireit has been impressing investors with a dividend yield of approximately 10%. For every share owned, I can expect to receive around 0.04 in dividend payments. It's a delightful bonus that adds extra sweetness to our investment journey.Most of my shares were acquired through the rights issue at prices ranging from 0.45 and below. I managed to secure a significant portion at these discounted rates. However, it's worth mentioning that my initial 900 shares were purchased at a slightly higher price of 0.58. But fear not, fellow broke girls and guys, because I also made sure to buy the traded rights to convert those shares.

In conclusion, the recent rights issue by Ireit REIT provided an exciting opportunity to purchase shares at a discount. With the stock trading at 0.420 and the rights priced at 0.405, it was a tempting offer. Although I applied for an excess of 2000 shares, I can't help but wonder if I should have been more ambitious. Nevertheless, the promise of a 10% dividend yield and the chance to acquire shares at favorable prices have certainly brightened my investment journey
