$SHENG SIONG GROUP LTD(OV8.SI)$ is going ex dividend on 9 May 2022 paying 0.031 cents per share. It is a great defensive stock to hold in volatile times like now.

The good news is that it has just reported a 13.9% in increase in Net Profit to SGD35.2 million in 1Q22 compared to 1Q21 at SGD30. 9 million.

$SHENG SIONG GROUP LTD(OV8.SI)$ has an excellent management team which is intent on keeping costs down through effective sourcing and it even improves its Gross Profit Margin to 28.7% this latest quarter.

It also plans to increase its outlets and already a new one has opened in Bukit Batok followed by 2 new stores later in 2022.
