@koolgal 🌟🌟🌟The Greatest Love Of All Is The Love Of A Mother. Today being Mother's Day, I wish to honour my mother because she has always been there for me, through good times and bad times. Her love for me is as steady as a rock.
Many years ago, my mother and I took a trip to Tokyo and the dish Okonomiyaki brings back wonderful memories of a spring day with beautiful cherry blossoms. Okonomiyaki is the Japanese version of savoury pancake filled delicious minced pork, cabbage, generous bonito flakes, lots of mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.
My mum and I loved this pancake and together we concocted our very own version of Okonomiyaki. We added shrimps, cuttlefish and made it a seafood version of this famous dish. It is a simple dish and can be made in 30 minutes. Ingredients are flour, eggs, water, chopped cabbage, shrimps, cuttlefish. Mix the batter, then panfry it.
Making this dish for my mum today is a small gesture to thank her for being my mum. Happy Mother's Day!
@Aqa My mother passed away twenty three years ago and we miss her often. She was a homemaker and very good at cooking. In addition to the faily cooking, she would cook us a feast at every festival, including gods’ birthdays. She was definitely a wonder woman because we were a family of ten including my grandmother, my parents and six of us siblings. My mom can cook all the auspicious Chinese New Year’s dishes such as shark fin soup and lo mai fun. She also made “Budda jumps over the wall”! My mom flavor is called “Super woman”!
Of course, in addition to this, there are many different delicacies. Thanks all tigers for sharing.
