@Mrzorro:Market Recap | U.S. Stocks Gain, but First Republic Bank Slides U.S. stocks climbed Monday on hopes for stability in the banking sector after regulators engineered a deal for Swiss banking giant UBS to take over rival Credit Suisse. In 4 p.m. ET trading, $DJIA(.DJI)$ added about 380 points, or 1.2%, and $S&P 500(.SPX)$ rose 0.9%. $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ climbed 0.4%. The indexes declined Friday but have been relatively insulated from the banking crisis thus far. Authorities have sought to halt a dangerous decline in confidence in the global banking system and get ahead
@LeilaLynch:$Affirm Holdings, Inc.(AFRM)$ Has anyone noticed how every financial firm is entering the AFRM market, taking market share for AFRM while AFRM is STAGNATING, losing market share and money, giving its shares away on horrendous deals, and making poor acquisitions? It's no coincidence that Max lost over $50 billion of shareholders' value while taking the company to the brink of insolvency. In contrast that the competition ($SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ ) is talking about buybacks ( returning money to shareholders ), GAAP profits, and meaningful partnerships. The market is overvaluing Max's dismal contribution to PayPal$PayPal(PYPL)$ โ the guy is bottom-tier managem
@DJ90:#Musk However Tesla will struggle if the QC issues in their Chinese factory hang around like a bad smell. Remedies for the issue will be difficult to execute because the factory is in well, China. Having worked for an automotive company with a China based factory I know hard it is to maintain proper quality standards.
