Money or Passion - Which is more important in trading?

🌟🌟🌟My goal of investing is to make money which will be used to achieve my ultimate of FIRE - Financial Independence Retire Early.  Money is the key to giving me more time to pursue my dream goal of travelling the world, exploring new cities, eating different cuisines and making new friends.  In other words Money is more about freedom and having more time to experience life to the fullest.  Money is a means to an end for me. 

Passion can be defined as enthusiasm, zeal or fervour for something we like to do.  Passion for me means having the interest and energy to research my stocks and ETFs.  Spending time learning to be a better investor.  It is not so much about trading daily, staying awake watching the markets.  I am more of an investor than a trader as I tend to buy and hold my stocks and ETFs long term.

Investing to me is more of a marathon than a sprint.    Slow and steady is my creed.  Add Patience to the mix and that's my style of investing in a nutshell.

As the late Charlie Munger likes to say "The Big Money is not in the Buying and Selling but in the Waiting". 

While making money to achieve my goal of FIRE is important to me, having passion to do it well and excel - That  is my philosophy in investing.
