Chapter 1

Sit down lah, prata still hot. Today Muthu boy  tell you one story that will make your hair stand.

Not ghost story. Real case. 100 years ago in India.

One 4-year-old girl keep saying her husband’s name, the house number, even where she buried her private money under the ground.

She cry and scream she want to go find her baby that was only few days old when she died.

Most people think… wah this kid got fantasy only.

But wait. This story later shock the whole India. Even Mahatma Gandhi himself got involved.

You free? I continue.

Chapter 2

1926, Delhi. Rich government officer family. Baby girl born. Name Shanti Devi.

Until 4 years old, normal normal. Then suddenly she start reject food.

“This roti not my style. In Mathura we eat dal with special spice. And I love that sweet from the corner shop.”

Mother laugh, “Girl, you never even left Delhi, where got Mathura?”

But Shanti just sit alone in the corner, looking southwest, face full of sadness… like one grown woman with heavy heart.

By 6 years old she drop the bomb:

“My real name is Lugdi. My house is 145 km away in Mathura. I am not small girl. I am somebody’s wife. I cannot forget my poor son.”

Imagine 1930s conservative officer family… 6-year-old daughter keep saying “I got husband and child”. Father almost faint.

They bring her to every top doctor. Brain ok, IQ high, no mental problem.

Then she give more details… husband name Kedarnath, cloth shop opposite famous temple, yellow two-storey house, well in the courtyard, left ear black mole, right shoulder old scar…

And how she died in 1925 after giving birth – the operation smell, the baby cry, the fever, everything.

Father force whole family keep quiet. Don’t mention Mathura anymore.

But fate already moving.

Chapter 3

Shanti already 9 years old, in school.

She speak with Mathura village accent. Fold clothes like married woman. Sometimes classmates call “Shanti”, she take few seconds to answer… then say “My name is Lugdi.”

School principal Mr. Kishan Chand – pure science man, don’t believe any reincarnation rubbish.

He call her to office.

“You say you married in Mathura. Tell me your husband’s name.”

In those days married woman cannot say husband name openly. Shanti face turn red, look down, exactly like shy wife.

Softly she say full name: Kedarnath Chaubey. Then give shop details, house colour, everything.

Principal write formal letter to that address.

Few days later… urgent reply come.

From Kedarnath himself.

Three things confirmed:

Shop and house exact.

Wife Lugdi Devi died October 1925 after childbirth, left newborn son.

Left ear mole and right shoulder scar… 100% match.

Kedarnath got shock. He already remarried. Suspect maybe some trick for money.

He decide go Delhi himself… but with a plan.

Chapter 4

One afternoon Kedarnath come with his cousin.

Cousin dress smart, walk in front like boss. Kedarnath wear old servant clothes, walk behind.

Door open. 9-year-old Shanti come out.

She never look at the “boss”. Eyes lock straight on the “servant”.

Tears come out. She walk fast to Kedarnath:

“Why you dress like this?”

Then turn to cousin, pure Mathura dialect: “Kanjimal cousin, why you make him wear such torn clothes?”

Both men cold sweat.

Later closed-door talk alone. When door open again, Kedarnath cover face and cry.

“Nobody can teach her these things. Only my dead wife Lugdi and me know those secrets. She is Lugdi.”

News explode. Newspapers everywhere. Whole India split – one side say miracle, other side say big fraud.

Finally reach Gandhi.

Gandhi meet the girl himself. Then order form 15-man special investigation team – Supreme Court judges, top doctors, professors, famous editors. All elite, all want to expose the lie.

Chapter 5

15 November 1935. Train from Delhi to Mathura.

Rules strict:

No hint to Shanti.

She must lead the way alone in front.

No one in Mathura informed.

Arrive station. One old man walk towards them.

Shanti stop, go to him, bend down touch his feet (traditional daughter-in-law respect), then say “Big brother” in Mathura dialect.

That old man is Kedarnath’s real elder brother.

Next test – she guide the carriage through the maze streets of Mathura.

“Turn right at the stone arch… after spice market enter that narrow lane…”

Suddenly she point one mud wall: “This short-cut used to go to my backyard. Why blocked now?”

Neighbours confirm – wall built 7 years ago after land dispute. After Lugdi already dead.

Carriage stop in front of the exact yellow house.

Inside she point every room, every furniture position.

Then the killer test.

She point one spot in the courtyard: “My private money buried here under the brick. White clay pot, few hundred silver rupees for my son.”

They dig. Find the white pot…

Empty.

Investigators ready to write “fake”.

Kedarnath suddenly push forward: “She speak truth. After she died, my business almost bankrupt. One night I dig it myself, take the money, put empty pot back. Never told anyone – not parents, not brothers, not even my second wife.”

Last puzzle piece fit.

Chapter 6

Then the emotional part.

One 10-year-old boy walk in. Nawal – the baby Lugdi died giving birth to.

Now he taller than the 9-year-old “mother”.

Shanti see him, body start shake, run and hug tight. Cry hard. Touch his hair, face, even check the hidden birthmark behind left ear.

Then take out peanut candy and coins she saved from her pocket money, force into his hand.

Ask: “You eat on time? Stepmother treat you good? Why your shoe sole so thin when cold?”

Famous editor Gupta later write: Language can be taught, pot can be planned… but that deep mother love in the eyes of a 9-year-old girl… no actor in the world can fake.

Boy also cry and hug back.

Then second wife appear at the door with water basin.

Air freeze.

Shanti look at the house she once arranged, the son she cannot keep, the husband who remarried.

Her Delhi parents come forward, eyes full of fear: “Shanti… sky dark already. We go home.”

One word “Shanti” hit her like hammer.

Chapter 7

Kedarnath kneel and beg the parents: Let her stay, I treat her as real mistress of the house.

Father firm: “She born in Delhi, grow in Delhi. She is Shanti Devi. Let the past finish. Free her. Free yourself.”

Shanti make her choice.

She walk to Nawal, adjust his collar like mother, soft voice:

“Nawal, Mama see you grow up safe, see someone take care of you, I can rest already. Listen to your new mother. Study hard. Become good man.”

Then she hold her mother’s hand and walk away. Never look back at Kedarnath or the house.

1936 – the official report come out.

15 top elites sign: After weeks of strict tests, we conclude 9-year-old Shanti Devi truly carries the complete real memories of the late Lugdi Devi of Mathura. Present science cannot explain.

Later world experts study this case. Ian Stevenson of University of Virginia call it the strongest, most airtight reincarnation case in history.

Chapter 8 (Final)

Shanti never use the fame for money. Never go back to Mathura again.

She refuse marriage. Say: One soul already taste full marriage, birth, and that heartbreaking mother-son love… this life no need new marriage.

She work simple government clerk job in Delhi. Quiet life. Read, meditate, live simple.

Old age, Western scholar ask her:

“Carrying such heavy past-life memory whole life… is it torture or gift?”

Shanti smile, eyes still clear:

“When young I feel pain. I remember everyone but cannot return. I want give mother love but people see me strange.

But when I know Nawal grow up safe, have own children, own happiness… all attachment melt.

I never have own family this life, but never lonely. Death cannot take true love. I crossed life and death once to check on that child. He is fine. My soul free.”

27 December 1987, age 61, Shanti Devi close her eyes in Delhi with peaceful smile.

No more unfinished business.

Bro, prata finished already? This story real ah. You Google “Shanti Devi reincarnation” can check.
