Thanksgiving is a day to remember to give thanks for the blessings of the preceding year. Blessings come in many forms. Beyond the material or financial (which has been a roller coaster year for the stock market), there are other things that are more important and should be of greater priority.
I am thankful for the good health of myself and my family. Health is wealth and should never be taken for granted. Only with health then can we go on to pursue wealth, our dreams and our aspirations. I am glad to be able to explore new opportunities at work, enjoy valuable time with my family and create memories together. With the relaxing of Covid-19 restrictions, being able to catch up and bond physically with friends is also a great reminder that life is unpredictable and to cherish the many precious ones in our lives. Nonetheless, the freedom and lack of natural disasters in this nation is a big plus for many of us to be able to enjoy and build these relationships.
Last but not least, I am thankful for the friends in this Tiger community where we have fun participating in events together and learning about investment from one another. It is great having a community for encouragement and to learn from, especially when the stock market is not at its kindest to most. Of course, the low fees on Tiger brokers have been helpful!
