$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$   📈 $SPY Looks like we broke down! That bearish engulfing candle at close really creeps me out. No clear flow or edge but bears are in the driving seat.

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$   $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$   🚨 Here’s how the markets have performed from May-Oct in the past decade on avg. Powell less hawkish today, slowing down QT. 2016 and 2020 the prior election years (peak ZIRP in 2020 tho). How do we finish the year? I think $SPX is further 🟢 from today.
$DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$   Rate cuts are NOT coming! Banks will continue to keep making profits with high net interest margins. Stick to the best of the best with DBS! Quarterly dividend payout 😋

$Invesco CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust(FXY)$  BREAKING: USD to JPY ratio crashes again just days after the Bank of Japan intervened when the Japanese Yen hit its weakest level since 1990. At 9:30 PM ET on Sunday night, the Japanese Yen weakened to 160 against the US Dollar for the first time since 1990. On Tuesday, BOJ data indicated that they likely intervened with $5.5 TRILLION Yen for the first time since 2022. Today, the same exact situation just happened and it appears to be another intervention. The Yen is in trouble.
Brokers will be the big winners here. IBKR, charles schwab, tda, saxo and of course our beloved Tiger! $Tiger Brokers(TIGR)$
Will "sell in May and go away" happen this year? Not necessarily if there’s an ongoing bull market. From 1965 to 2021, the S&P 500 saw positive returns on average in May if a bull market was present. At the same time, if there was a bear market then the index experienced negative performance. Currently, the S&P 500 is up 7% year to date, rebounding from the recent ~6% pullback, and ~25% since October 2023. If we are in a bull market, May is likely to end up being a strong month. If not, history says the decline has only just begun.

In April, #Bitcoin  experienced its worst monthly performance since November 2022. Bitcoin ended April 16% lower marking its biggest monthly decline since the collapse of FTX. Bitcoin is also below $60,000 for the first time since February, officially entering bear market territory. All while we have had 3 consecutive weeks of crypto funds outflows for the first time ever. However, Bitcoin is still up by more than 35% in 2024. Is #Crypto losing its momentum?

Sell in May? 🤔 Statistically speaking, over the last 20 years May sees an average of 0.2% upside 75% of the time. The worst month of the year actually tends to be September, which only closes higher 55% of the time and has an average loss of 0.7%.

$Trump Media & Technology(DJT)$  Was Trump Media stock, $DJT, being targeted? On April 19th, Trump Media alerted the Nasdaq about market manipulation from "naked" short selling of its stock. Since then, over just 2 weeks, $DJT stock is up a massive 130% from its low and back above $50/share. Naked short selling is a type of securities fraud which hurts the underlying stock. This came after $DJT fell 70% from March 27th through April 16th. The stock has moved in a STRAIGHT-LINE higher since they alerted the Nasdaq about the potential fraud. What happened here? We have yet to receive more information on the report of "naked" short selling. However, the sudden rebound suggests that shorts were being covered. It'll be interesting once we get s

$Starbucks(SBUX)$  The collapse of Starbucks is truly insane: 1. Company wide same store sales fell 4% and traffic fell 6% this quarter 2. In China, same store sales plunged 11% with an 8% decline in the average order 3. International same store sales FELL 6% while a 1.4% GAIN was expected 4. Management lowered revenue growth guidance from 7% to low-single digits 5. "Most loyal customers are looking for discounts" What happened to Starbucks? Even the company's most loyal customers are looking for discounts. Consumers are cutting back on spending and expensive coffee is a luxury. All while international sales have completely fallen off a cliff.

BREAKING: Prediction markets now see a 16% chance of at least 1 interest rate HIKE in 2024. Meanwhile, prediction markets now see a record high ~38% chance of 0 interest rate CUTS in 2024. The base case shows just 1 rate cut in September 2024, down from 6 cuts expected just 4 months ago. In January, odds of another rate HIKE were at just 1% as the Fed seemingly "pivoted" in December 2023. What happened to the Fed pivot? Needless to say, the Fed pivot has quickly disappeared. Tomorrow, the Fed will make it clear that higher for longer policy is back and another HIKE could be possible. The Fed still has a lot more work to do.

A reminder that Cathie Wood has a #Bitcoin  price target of $3.8M by 2030 🤔 "Last year we put out our bull case for Bitcoin. It was $1.5 million. With this institutional green light that the SEC has provided, kicking and screaming though it did, the analysis we’ve done is that if institutional investors were to allocate a little more than 5% of their portfolios to Bitcoin, as we think they will over time, that alone would add $2.3 million to the projection I just gave you."

Another sign higher for longer is back: According to the New York Fed, wage inflation is sticky around 5%. This is more than double the Fed's long-term 2% target that they continue to stand by. Needless to say, 5% wage inflation should not come as a surprise after the latest inflation data. CPI inflation is now up for 2 straight months and PPI inflation nearly doubled year-over-year. We are not ready for lower rates yet. So now the US economy has: 1) Dropping confidence 2) 4 months of hotter inflation 3) $2 trillion annual deficits 4) ~$34.5trillion in debt 5) ~1.5 million full-time jobs decline with 1.9M part-time jobs created over a year What could possibly go wrong?

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$   $PLTR is a big proportion of my portfolio. Here are 18 reasons why I am extremely confident: 1. Palantir is becoming increasingly faster in acquiring new customers with Bootcamps. AIP Now will make it even faster. 2. Geopolitical tensions push the need for AI in Defense spending. 3. Big tech results ( $META $GOOG $MSFT $NOW) show AI is real and markets crave AI Revenues. 4. Palantir is not only a "pure AI play", but also (very) GAAP profitable. Scarsity. 5. $NOW results show AI is spreading in the enterprise. Palantir's offering is superior and targeted at solving the most critical use cases for each vertical. NOW's AI solutions look basic. 6. People are still focused on AI

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$   Top things for everyone to learn from $TSLA stock rocketing over +36.6% in 1 week, my personal top 10: 1/ Don’t bet against Elon despite things feeling impossible, bc he may not always be on time, but he always delivers. Always. 2/ When investing in Tesla, think of it as a partnership into the most innovative business in the world, not as a piece of paper stock. 3/ It’s all about the number of shares you own and the % of the business you own, not the $ amount. 4/ Don’t listen to mainstream media, they are often very wrong & have alternative motives (clicks, ads, etc). 5/ A major part of the valuation of a company is based on investor sentiment, often more than the financials &

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$   I see 4 parabolic moves in $TSLA stock history. The first was in 2013 with the Model S ramp. The second was in 2020 with the Model 3 ramp. The third is now with the FSD and Robotaxi ramp. And the fourth will be with the Optimus ramp. The fourth will be larger than the first three combined The energy storage and transmission business will be a very positive impact but not cause a parabolic move.
