$Alibaba(BABA)$ Alibaba (NYSE:BABA ) last released its quarterly earnings results on November 17th. It reported $1.50 earnings per share for the quarter, beating analysts' consensus estimates of $1.37 by $0.13. The business had revenue of $29.12 billion for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $31.07 billion. Alibaba Group had a return on equity of 10.61% and a net margin of 0.88%. On average, equities analysts predict that Alibaba Group will post 5.87 earnings per share for the current fiscal year
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ Most analysts are looking for approximately 2 cents in EPS and around $475 million in revenues for the last quarter. However, Palantir can probably surpass these estimates. Many analysts have been overly pessimistic about Palantir, and its prospects and consensus figures may be lowballed at this point. While a one-cent beat is nothing to get too excited about, it should demonstrate that Palantir will likely become more profitable sooner than expected. Also, even a small beat could send Palantir's badly beaten-down stock substantially higher from current levels.

Earnings per share were $1.05, compared to $0.99 by analysts. Total revenue for the quarter was $21.45 billion,
