      The 5 Best Technology ETFs by 2023 Performance

      Technology is far and away the best performing stock market sector this year. The $55 billion Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund ,which holds the tech stocks within the S&P 500 index, has delivered a return of 49.4% year-to-date through Nov. 22.While one of the best performing technology ETFs of 2023, there are a handful of other tech-focused funds that have done even better than XLK.In most cases, these top performershold narrower baskets of tech stocks.Additionally, the typical top-performing tech ETFs hold stocks that have been placed in other, non-technology sectors by classification schemes like GICS, but that are widely considered to be tech stocks by investors .The $590 million SPDR NYSE Technology ETF is an equal-weighted ETF that holds stocks of “35 leading U.S.-listed technology-related companies.”It pulls stocks from the tech and consumer discretionary sectors that fit certain criteria. Morgan Stanley Teaches You How To Choose US consumer stocks [Part 2]

      @Capital_Insights
      Despite the general pessimism about consumer spending, the analysis is not entirely negative.For example, Morgan Stanley is particularly bullish on the airline and cargo sectors, discount stores, luxury goods, and the entertainment sector in terms of live events and concerts. In addition, some stocks such as e-commerce, leisure and food retail are also seen as potentially resilient.We remain bullish on U.S. regional airlines as we continue to see signs of suppressed strong demand being unleashed," the report notes.TravelIn addition, weaker demand for leisure travel due to higher prices is expected to be offset by the return of business travel and the easing of international travel restrictions.Major airlines such as $Alaska Air(A

      Coca-Cola ( $Coca-Cola(KO)$)Today’s recommendation is a stock that will be good for balancing your portfolios when the economy is showing signs of a recession looming. Coca-Cola is among the most recession-proof companies and is considered a good defensive stock to shore up when times are not looking good. Growing dividends especially during a recession shows that the company is well managed and its products are in demand even though the economy is slowing. Currently, Coca-Cola’s dividend yield is 2.95%, with annual dividend $1.76, and boasting a good record of 59 consecutive years of dividend growth. In fact, Coca-Cola is the 3rd-largest in Warren Buffet’s portfolio, after Apple $Apple(AAPL)$&nbs

      200 stocks in S&P 500 have made 1-year lows

      @Alvin Chow
      US stocks were walloped this week. We haven't end the week but S&P 500 $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$has lost 6% already. Worst weekly performance since Mar 2020 (Covid).The Fed hiked interest rate by 0.75% and it was the largest since 1994. Market initially rallied but died the following day.200 out of the 500 stocks in S&P 500 have made 1-year lows. That's almost half of the constituents of the index. These are blue chips.There were 15 stocks that lost more than 50% from a year ago. Most of them are in the travel sector which is weird considering the world is opening up. And we even have an ex-trillion dollar club member, Meta Platforms, among these losers too.1. Meta Platforms -51%2. Under Armour -54%3. Warner Bros Discovery -55%4. Wy

      👌//@KYHBKO:all the more, we should add $Berkshire Hathaway(BRK.B)$to our portfolio holding. then, we can own all these good stocks.  though it is not structured like an ETF, it is definitely one of the best performing stock ownership of multiple assets under one singular holding.

Here’s what you should know about ETFs, how they work, and how to buy them. What is an ETF? An exchange-traded fund, or ETF, allows investors to buy many stocks or bonds at once.
