      Navigating the Memory & Storage Rally: Short-Term Sentiment, Year-End Fundamentals, and Bull Put Spread Return Modelling

      @nerdbull1669
      U.S. memory and storage equities experienced a powerful surge during the mid-August trading sessions, driven by a confluence of geopolitical policy shifts and massive capital allocation commitments from leading South Korean semiconductor giants. Washington’s direct policy intervention advising domestic technology enterprises against procuring memory components from Chinese suppliers — specifically targeting DRAM from CXMT and NAND flash from YMTC—has effectively created a protective moat around domestic and allied suppliers. In this article, we would like to share how investors can navigate this memory and storage rally, on short-term sentiment, especially concurrently, South Korea's $SK hynix(SKHY)$ SK Hynix and

      Red Flags on US Market & Reports ?

      @JC888
      For week ending Fri, 21 Aug 2026, US stock market rally bent but didn't break - a disaster week, if I could say so. All the key indexes fell below their 21-day moving averages on Thu, 20 Aug 2026 with the Nasdaq also closing below its 04 Aug 2026’s follow-through day low — a highly bearish signal that the market rally will ultimately fail. The indexes rose modestly on Friday, with all except Nasdaq regaining their 21-day lines. For the week: (see above) DJIA : -0.75% (-386.10 to 53,277.01). The Dow is posting back-to-back weekly losses. S&P 500 : -1.49% (-116.31 to 7,674.37). Nasdaq : -2.26% (-604.20 to 26,180.46). In the wake of the latest market drawdown, Verdence Capital Advisors, founder & CEO, Leo Kelly thinks US equities could see even more losses, a slide toward correction t

      6 Stocks Quality Investors Keep Buying

      @Long_Equity
      Nearly every great long-term investor seems to own at least one of these six companies: $Alphabet(GOOG)$ $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ $Microsoft(MSFT)$ $Moody's(MCO)$ $S&P Global(SPGI)$ $MasterCard(MA)$ $Visa(V)$ There is a clear common thread: high-quality businesses with strong competitive moats, recurring revenue, pricing power, high returns on capital and relatively asset-light business models. And importantly, this is not simply an AI basket. You have AI/cloud exposure through Microsoft and Alphabet,

      5 Lessons from 3 Lines in 1 Chart

      @Callum_Thomas
      $S&P 500(.SPX)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ $Dow Jones(.DJI)$ $iShares Russell 2000 ETF(IWM)$ The chart below should be studied carefully by every student of the markets. Here's my 5 thoughts from this chart: 1. Investor Behavior: everyone wants to own stocks at the top (when valuations are high), few want to own them at the bottom (when valuations are low). 2. There -is- An Alternative: the 1970’s-1980’s period saw a structural decline in stockmarket valuations (and allocations to stocks) and
