My Trading Strategy For Week of 05-09 June 2023
I would be looking at these 2 stocks, which are in these 3 sectors:
Tech Sector - $Apple(AAPL)$
Chinese ADRs - $Alibaba(BABA)$
Fintech - $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$
Tech Sector - Apple (AAPL)
I would be looking at $Apple(AAPL)$ in the coming week, 05-09 June.
Apple (AAPL) is launching new products this week, and one of the focus is VR headset product. What I will be looking for is the software that Apple (AAPL) use for the VR headset.
There have been many VR products out in the market, I have my first VR headset a few years ago, the experience is not bad, except for the software.
I believe a better collection could be build for user to navigate the different features and functions. On top of that there should be a way to share the different VR schema that other users are creating easily across different platform.
Apple (AAPL) Technical Analysis - Moving Averages
I am expecting AAPL to clear $185 this week as I foresee that their new product launch would help to propel the stock price based on their recent past product launches.
You can look at my previous article I wrote on Apple (AAPL).
Can new Apple (AAPL) VR Headset propel its stock price?

Chinese ADRs - Alibaba (BABA)
I will be looking at Alibaba (BABA) because the chip unit of Alibaba Group Holding, T-Head has also joined in the movement for new chip software development.
They have joined global initiative to develop RISC-V software ecosystem, along with chipmaker, Intel, Qualcomm and Nvidia.
This bring the RISC-V Software Ecosystem Project together with 13 global industry leaders as its founding members, including Intel and Samsung.
Eight RISC-V processors have been introduced by T-Head since its inception. Four of these processors have been made available with open-sourced IP.
Alibaba introduces a range of RISC-V processors with the Xuantie family ranging from the E902 micro-controller class core to the C910 core for servers in data centers.
This also includes the XuanTie C906 core found in the Allwinner D1 single-core RISC-V processor.
While RISC-V is an open standard and there’s a fair share of open source RISC-V cores available, many commercial RISC-V cores are closed source.
T-Head had open-sourced four RISC-V-based Xuantie series processor cores, namely Xuantie E902, E906, C906, and C910, as well as related software and tools.
The RTL for the four cores released on T-Head Semiconductor’s Github account under Apache 2.0 license. Each repository has its own instruction and code.
Alibaba also highlighted software support for their RISC-V cores with Allies, RT-Thread, FreeRTOS, Linux, and Android, and claims to have shipped over 2.5 billion XuanTie cores so far.
Alibaba (BABA) Technical Analysis - Moving Averages
From the TA, BABA look like it can be traded for a short term for this week, considering that there is a news of them joining the RISC-V initiatives.
I would see more demand for their chips especially from the open source as more companies are exploring on how to do their own custom chip for A.I.
Alibaba’s (BABA) 10-Day exponential moving average is 82.46, while Alibaba’s (BABA) share price is $84.27, making it a Buy.
Alibaba’s (BABA) 100-Day exponential moving average is 89.78, while Alibaba’s (BABA) share price is $84.27, making it a Sell.
Alibaba’s (BABA) stock price is $84.27 and Alibaba’s (BABA) 50-day simple moving average is 88.89, creating a Sell signal.
Alibaba’s (BABA) stock price is $84.27 and Alibaba’s (BABA) 100-day simple moving average is 94.73, creating a Sell signal.
Alibaba’s (BABA) stock price is $84.27 and Alibaba’s (BABA) 200-day simple moving average is 88.95, creating a Sell signal.
This would give Alibaba (BABA) a good head start to join the others to look at development of self custom processors.
Fintech - SoFi Technologies (SOFI)
As I have mentioned in a previous article, I would expect SOFI business in loans and student loans to pick up after U.S. default have been resolved.
Will SoFi Technologies (SOFI) benefit from the debt limit raise?
Businesses and students would be back to restart their financial planning in terms of loans.

SoFi Technologies’s (SOFI) stock price is $7.03 and SoFi Technologies’s (SOFI) 100-day simple moving average is 5.95, creating a Buy signal.
SoFi Technologies’s (SOFI) stock price is $7.03 and SoFi Technologies’s (SOFI) 200-day simple moving average is 5.60, creating a Buy signal.
Summary
These 3 stocks are all from different sector as I wanted to spread my risk. Market is still not certain as economic data released last week does not really give us a good indication whether Fed is going to pause the rate hike for June.
I believe as investors, what we can do is to plan our trades based on events and do our own analysis, we may use technical analysis or whichever suits your trading style.
Appreciate if you could share your thoughts in the comment section whether you will be looking at these 3 stocks, or maybe you can share what stocks would you be looking at for this week?
@TigerStars @Daily_Discussion appreciate if you could feature this article so that fellow tiger would benefit from my investing and trading thoughts.

Keep lying to your self but come up with new material when APPLE HITS $200.
AAPL’s latest multiple of 30 is still nothing compared to TSLA’s latest multiple of 70
