1) The earnings data is already priced in?
2) The data below the forecasts that the company had previously made?

3. Below are some possible reasons for the drop after earnings:
$Danaher(DHR)$’s net sales of $6,873 million outperformed the consensus estimate of $6,611.7 million. However, it declined 10.3% year over year due to a decrease in the sale of COVID-related products and weak demand in the Life Sciences segment.
$Barclays PLC(BCS)$ reported Q3 net income attributable to ordinary equity holders of £1.27 billion ($1.61 billion), down 16% from the prior-year quarter.
$Canadian National Railway(CNI)$ reported quarterly earnings surprise of -2.33% vs. a quarter ago.
$Cadence Design(CDNS)$ top estimate by earnings results for many years, but its revenue guidance for next quarter underwhelmed.
$Sherwin-Williams(SHW)$ reports strong Q3 2023 earnings, raises full-year guidance. It raised over 3% in the opening but closed at a price of -1.53%.
$General Motors(GM)$ says Q3 results affected by strike, and withdraws full-year guidance. after the earnings report was released the UAW announced that 5,000 members would go on strike at one of GM’s most profitable plants.
Chicago-based $Archer-Daniels Midland(ADM)$ said it was raising its full-year earnings outlook after a strong first three quarters of the year, but ADM's Nutrition segment posted lower results on weak demand for meat protein alternatives
$Teck Resources Ltd(TECK)$ plunged to their lowest price in nearly seven months after the Canadian miner raised the cost of its flagship copper mine in Chile once again.
$NVR Inc(NVR)$ got net income beat, but its revenue lowered than the market’s expectation, also lower than the data of the same period in last year.
