Yes, investors would be taking some peofits today and the 500 level may not hold longer than expected. However, NVDA is expected to shoot up well above the 500 level after the release of its earninhs today after market hours. Expect the shate prive to be very volatile juat before the earninhs report. This is what I will do as usual for a mega stock when results are expected.
For NVDA, when good results are expected, prices would fluctuate to the high side. Hence I may buy up some jusy below 500 and wait for the results to come out or just before it and cash in on some profits. And if it does fall back again, I would pick up more.
Nividia is the number one chip stock in the induatry as with its latest chips catering for high end artidicial intelligence (AI) users. For this stock, it is always wise to buy on the dips and hold possibly for the long term as NVDA is seen as a top growth stock by institutional investors and a must have in their portfolio.

amazing day yesterday. gonna be some profit taking. msft down 2.60 premarket. means nothing. hold and grow rich. nvda is in the early stages of a blow off top.
