Option Stratgies: MSFT, NFLX& QQQ

Hello everyone! Today I want to share some option stratgies with you!

1.

People have messaged us asking why we are not doing a lot of optionselling earnings trades this week. We appreciate ya'll thinking of us. Answer: Purposely avoiding adding more trades to our basket.

We are trying to reduce our current positions and have had to roll a few positions already. We also try to avoid trading too much during OPEX week due to the wild swings and uncharacteristic movements of the market, which sometimes can exaggerate the post-earnings move to where our typical risk cushion doesn't hold up.

We prefer to avoid that situation. Good luck to everyone who is writing options during this crazy week.

2.

Anyone gonna sell puts on $Nasdaq100 Bull 3X ETF(TQQQ)$ to take advantage of this downtrend on $Invesco QQQ Trust-ETF(QQQ)$ ?? Thinking of selling 30-60 DTE and just below the 200EMA of 48.

3.

Taking a tiny pre-earnings #Optionselling trade on $Netflix(NFLX)$ . Gap at the 480 level. Expected move ~8%. Targeting short strikes that are 2X+ the expected move. ATH is just above 700, but market is weak and doesn't seem supportive of an ATH break.

That said, would love to see it happen in hopes that it can save tech this week and get a strong green day on QQQ tomorrow 🙏🏽🤞🏽. Wouldn't mind picking up NFLX shares, but will roll if it breaks 480 in order to get a lower entry price.

- Sold-to-open the Apr 19 exp 480p & 730/735 call credit spread.

We like this optionselling trade on $Microsoft(MSFT)$ ... might "put" (haha .. get it 😆) it on tomorrow or early next week. The 375 short strike is right around volume point-of-control and a good spot for accumulation.
