Quick Hits: Nvidia Insider Alert & My Calls on TSLA, AMZN, APPL, AMD
CEO and Global Superstar Jensen Huang will sell up to $735 million worth of $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ A shares. NVDA closed -1.18% on Thursday.
A turning point before spilt?
I have trades on NVDA call last week and sold them on Monday.
I made 2 winning trades with 27% and 100% returns per contract respectively.
My weekly P&L return is now 72.52%. That doesn't seem bad, I’m very thankful for that.
Below you will find some of my trading notes that I would like to share as an overview and reminder for myself.
On Thursday, I traded $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ 14 JUN 24 Calls twice. Seems to be a good trade
I also closed my $200 calls of $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ strike on 16 August, I feel regret in deed. The company must be running up to their own AI conference on JUN 11.
And then I added two contracts on Thursday trading.
1.$Apple(AAPL)$ calls targeting $200 and strike on July.
At WWDC 2024, Apple will announce its next-generation operating systems for iPhones, iPads and MacBooks. Apple is anticipated to incorporate AI features across its platforms, starting with iOS 18 for iPhones. The AI features are anticipated to assist users in their daily lives and will be focused on practicality
Hopefully, I can get some popcorn.
2.I added $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ 20240621 $170 call & 20240719 $185 Call.
I saw AMD show top trading volume behind telsa, amzn last night. And i was sparked by @TrendSpider , seeing AMD would break up the box in the coming weeks.
However,If $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ slides after the split, that might send $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ & $Micron Technology(MU)$ (my another long tern target) along with it.
So i will be cautious on Friday trading. I’m worried now.
After NVDA splits Next Monday, they might be declines for a period. And we can find time to buy the dip.
