Is It Time To Buy Nvidia as It Drops 3.2% On Friday?

Nvidia's shares has dropped 6.7% in the last 2 trading sessions which erased its market capitalisation by over USD 220 billion. On Friday, Nvidia's market cap was USD 3.1 Trillion below that of Microsoft at USD 3.3 Trillion and Apple at USD 3.2 Trillion.
Fundamentally nothing has changed for Nvidia. Nvidia's fiscal first quarter results beat analysts expectations. Sales grew 262% to USD 26 billion while earnings were 461% higher.
Nvidia is not resting on its laurels as the Number 1 semiconductor company in specialised AI chips. It is transitioning from the Grace Hopper Chips to Blackwell in 2025 and in 2026 it will be Rubin. Rubin is named after US astronomer Vera Rubin and will be made available in the first half of 2026. The Rubin GPU chips will be designated R100 GPUs. The R100 GPU chips will be fabricated by $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$
in a 3 nanometer process technology, commencing production in the 4th quarter of 2025.
This reinforces CEO and Founder Jensen Huang's pledge for Nvidia to be on a 1 year cadence of releasing new chip architectures.
There is another segment of Nvidia's business with the potential to take a similar growth trajectory. Nvidia's Automotive and Robotics segment has more than doubled its revenue over the last 2 years. While its automotive segment still contributes only a small portion of total sales, Self Driving Technology is advancing and many Automakers are already Nvidia's customers.

I believe that Nvidia is expected to continue its strong performance for the rest of 2024 and can rise to over USD 150 per share. This is due to the strong demand for AI Technologies. Nvidia is certainly well positioned to capitalise on this and will continue to generate strong revenues and earnings going forward.
Is it time to buy Nvidia now?
My answer is definitely an affirmative YES!

I would buy Nvidia and allow the magic of compounding to do its work. My favourite holding period is Forever!
