No, I don't believe much in luck in investing, either beginner's or otherwise. It is, in no particular sequence, conviction, patience and research, that helps to make informed investment choices. But yes, there were some bets that were more of speculation that did help but those are too rare to merit mention.

我想我们都知道知识是关键，也是非常需要的。但是，我们不能否认运气，尤其是在最近几年。谁会预测到covid？谁能料到美联储会印这么多钱，以至于市场迅速反弹？谁会知道通货膨胀会如此棘手？近年来，不仅财报季会出现波动，而且每当通胀数据和就业数据到期时以及鲍威尔开口时也会出现波动。
