🌟🌟🌟$YZJ Shipbldg SGD(BS6.SI)$  is one of my best performing Singapore stocks.  Its share price rose 5.6% on Tuesday after it announced plans to build a clean energy ship manufacturing base on a piece of land in China it acquired.

YZJ share price is now up 57% year todate and in 2023, it has jumped 63%.

Analysts are positive on YZJ with a Buy rating.  CGSI and Citi analysts have set their target price at SGD 2.50 and SGD 2.45 respectively.  DBS is even more bullish with a new Target price of SGD 2.75.

The Analysts from CGSI said that the new yard could deliver 5 to 6 vessels or USD 850 million to USD 1 billion in orders.  The new yard is estimated to be about 60% the size of YZJ's existing Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu yard which focuses on the construction of mid to large sized vessels.

YZJ reported a record high net profit of RMB 4.1 billion for 2023 as revenue climbed 16.5% year on year to RMB 24.1 billion.

YZJ declared and paid out a final dividend of SGD 0.065 per share, 30% higher than the SGD 0.05 it paid out last year

YZJ 's Q1 2024 business update showed strong order book momentum with order wins reaching USD 3.32 billion as of May 2024, fulfilling 74% of its 2024 target.

YZJ' s order book also reached a record USD 16.08 billion as of the same date.

YZJ management believes that there will be continued demand growth for containerships, LNG carriers and LPG carriers because of fleet renewal and the global energy transition. 

This high demand would result in better revenue for YZJ over time. 

I have invested in YJZ for more than 2 years now and watch it grow slow and steadily during this time.  YZJ ticks all the fundamentals of a quality stock with strong profits and growing revenue as well as an excellent management team. 

As the late great Charlie Munger likes to say The Big Money is not in the Buying and Selling but in the Waiting.

I am happy that my strategy of buying  and holding quality stocks like Yangzijiang is paying off. 😍😍😍
