$Microsoft(MSFT)$ outage was actually caused by issues with $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$.
Are you the happy guy or the poor guy during this Friday outage?
Some started their weekend early on Friday as their computers failed.
However, with some airport staff have to handwrite boarding passes as airport operations were severely disrupted.
The IT staff even worse need to intervene the machine outage.
Those whose work and daily life were badly affected today might short $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ tonight. If it were me, I would be very angry too.
Short $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$, Long $Palo Alto Networks(PANW)$ and $Microsoft(MSFT)$?
Both CRWD and MSFT fell in pre-market trading. $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ once lost 20% in the premarket trading. Its competitor $Palo Alto Networks(PANW)$ jumps 3%, which is Nancy Pelosi’s pick.
Some investors want to short $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ because, after this outage, CrowdStrike might face substantial compensation claims.
Microsoft declines 3%, indicating that the market still has confidence. Maybe the drop is a good opportunity to add. But at what price is a key point as the stock continues to climb.
