Option Strategies: SOFI, VST, NVDA& AMD

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with u!

1.

Our trading recap for the week:

✅ Solid performance on the weekly optionselling trades with a net profit of $12,404.72 📈

❌ Got killed on our long-term tech stock holdings and longer-expiration sold puts, so this portfolio is down quite a bit from where it was a week ago 📉

◻️ No assignments and rolled just one position to this upcoming week's expiration

◻️ Gonna be a big earnings week coming up ... be prepared for more volatility

◻️ Follow and stay tuned ... will post optionsTrading ideas in a separate post

2.

Our optionselling game plan for this week with July 26 expiration.

Current trades in play:

- $ASML Holding NV(ASML)$ 855 put. Rolled this from 900 strike that was expiring last week. Earnings results were not that bad, so we think this market over-reaction to ASML presents a buying opportunity for ASML. We will take it at as low a price we can get.

- $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ 250 put. Sold this strike on Friday last week after the news and will be watching closely to see if there is further downside or things settle down until CRWD announces the financial impacts of their fiasco, which we believe won't happen this week as it will take some time to iron out ... meaning, we are betting there shouldn't be any more new news that sends the stock even lower except for general market movement.

- $SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ 9 call. Highly doubt SOFI reaches $9 by Friday expiration.

- $Vistra Energy Corp.(VST)$ 83 put. VST took a massive beating no thanks to the market. We are down quite a bit on this position. We will most likely roll the position to a lower strike and further out expiration date (although we don't really want to hold thru earnings).

New trades for this week:

- $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ 170 call. Will sell this and then roll down throughout the week. Semis have been getting killed. Doubtful AMD pushes back up to 170. Will be watching to see if AMD settles down and starts basing before selling a put against it.

- $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ 130 call. Same rationale as the AMD trade. Might turn this into a strangle and sell a put strike around 110. NVDA has held that 116-118 support range quite well so far.

- $Robinhood(HOOD)$ 21.5 or 22 put. Has been strongly holding above that 21.5 level since early June.

- $Hut 8 Mining Corp(HUT)$ 15 put. Crypto-miners continue to pump and as long as BTC keeps pumping or consolidates at current level, then HUT should continue to hold above the target strike.

- $CleanSpark, Inc.(CLSK)$ 15 put. Same rationale as HUT trade.

- $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ cash-secured put strike tbd (but initial thought is to play it aggressively and sell a strike in the 225-235 range). Earnings announcement this week. We are okay with assignment.

Playing for assignment:

- $Marathon Digital Holdings Inc(MARA)$ 35 covered call.

- $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ 200 covered call. Earnings announcement this week.

- $Hims & Hers Health Inc.(HIMS)$ 15 cash-secured put. Might roll the strike up depending on how price action plays out during the week.

Earnings trades:

- Plenty of stocks to trade this week. Will take a closer look later today and identify which stocks we want to trade.
