Failure Is the Stepping Stone To Success

@koolgal
🌟🌟🌟Failure has a bad rap. To many it is a loaded word, packed with a negative connotation. Failure by buying the wrong stocks can evoke feelings of disappointment, self doubt, unworthiness, fear, anxiety and even shame. However failure can also be a golden opportunity to learn, reflect and to grow in order to become a better investor. I have made many mistakes in the course of seeking the best stocks to invest. However I view failure and mistakes as stepping stones to become a better investor. I have learnt not to let emotions like FOMO or Fear guide me when it comes to investing. When I first started investing, I tend to follow the crowd and go for the hottest stocks. But these days, I am more careful and do my research thoroughly before jumping on the bandwagon. Without the lessons that I learnt, I do not think I can be where I am now. These days I am more into ETFs than buying individual stocks. I find that ETF investing can be just as rewarding too. ETFs especially Index ETFs, give me maximum value for my hard earned money and minimise my risks. For example $SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF(SPLG)$ which track the S&P500 Index is at its all time high today. $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ which represents the best Singapore Blue Chips companies is also up at 17 year high. $Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLE)$ which encompass the US Energy Giants is up with the recent win by Donald Trump for the US Presidential Election. When it comes to investing, I view Failure as the Stepping Stone To Success. I invest with Optimism and Hope that with patience and time in the market, I will reap bountiful returns in the long run. @Tiger_comments @TigerStars @Daily_Discussion @MillionaireTiger @CaptainTiger
