I believe $NKE is setting up for a tactical rebound. The stock just closed at $76.27, printing a bullish weekly engulfing candle off the 8EMA with rising MACD momentum and RSI climbing toward 72. A clean reclaim of $77.54 opens the door to test $84.47, the next weekly resistance zone. Despite trading 15.84% below its 52-week high, Nike outperformed peers Friday as bulls rotated back into discretionary names.
Order flow confirms it: over 3,500 contracts hit the ask for the $79C 08Aug25 expiry at $0.70, suggesting aggressive short-dated bullish positioning. Volume remains below average, setting up a potential spike on confirmation. Tariff pressures are front-loaded this half; however, Nikeβs CFO anticipates relief later in the year via surgical pricing. With sentiment still lukewarm (Berenberg holds a $70 target), I see asymmetric upside if the tape cooperates.
