$NVIDIA(NVDA)$

This week, institutions have been running bull call spreads by selling the $170$ call and buying the $180$ call. There’s also some outright call selling at the $175$ strike.

Overall, the expected trading range this week is $160–175$, with a low probability of a flash crash.

A pullback is anticipated this week, so if you see a rally on Monday, it’s a good spot to sell calls—look at strikes above $175$, such as $NVDA 20250912 175.0 CALL$ .

$Broadcom(AVGO)$

The target for this week is $350$, and the stock could reach $400$ by year-end. In the near term, expect some choppiness—don’t chase strength. Wait for a pullback to sell puts; use strikes below $335$.

$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$

Barring surprises, $SPY$ should continue to chop in the $635–655$ range this week. If it bounces to the top of the range, it’s a good setup to sell calls.

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$

Who would have thought $TSLA$, after a brutal first half, would end up being a leader in September?

Institutions are running bull call spreads in the $362.5–380$ and $370–400$ ranges, but expect the stock to finish below $362.5–370$.

Notably, there’s also bear put spread activity: selling the $345$ put and buying the $332.5$ put.

Based on these levels, this week you could sell the $332.5$ put ($TSLA 20250912 332.5 PUT$ ) or the $370$ call ($TSLA 20250912 370.0 CALL$ ).

$Robinhood(HOOD)$

Institutions tried their usual strike selection for arbitrage, but got blown out.

On Monday, they had to urgently roll their bull call spreads from $105–114$ and $106–115$ up to $118–125$ and $119–125$. This means the stock likely won’t move above $118–119$ this week.

When a move blows out the upper end of the spread, it’s usually close to topping out—so now’s a good time to sell calls. For safety, use the $125$ strike: $HOOD 20250912 125.0 CALL$ .
