$TSLL 20250919 13.0 PUT$

#MyOptionInvestmentJourney

Hi everyone!

I am back again this week (Sep 15) with an update on my option investing journey.

I am exploring a practical way for everyday people (like me!) to make the most of their spare savings — and hopefully, this inspires or helps someone out there too.

🔁 Recap:

[My Profile]

I started with SGD 1,400 / USD 1,050 in spare savings — just sitting in the bank earning minimal interest. Instead of letting it idle, I am testing if I can generate better returns through options investing.

I officially began this journey on August 12, 2025, and chose to invest in an ETF related to Tesla (TSLL) — primarily because of its exposure to Tesla and its dividend yield.

💼 What I've Done:

A. I am selling weekly Protective Put options expiring on Sep 19.

That means I am setting aside $1,050 in case I need to purchase 100 shares of TSLL at $10.50 or below (1 option contract = 100 shares).

However, for this week, as TSLL price had raised above 18USD, I am not able to get any Buyer for Protect PUT at 10USD.

This, I am selling a Protect PUT at 13USD instead, there will be a risk to purchase this using Margin.

B. I check in once a week — super manageable, about 10 minutes weekly.

C. I plan to repeat this weekly until I eventually accumulate 100 shares of TSLL.

💰 Progress So Far:

I have collected $1.25 in premium this week — bringing my total to $13.50, which is approximately 1.29% p.a. to date on my capital.

Thanks for following along — I will post updates weekly.

Lets see how far this small start can go. 🚀

Good luck to all of us! 🍀
