Being strict gets me scolded. Being lenient gets me blamed. Either way, I take the hit. I’ve completely lost interest in this job.
If I’m strict and ask for proper documentation to protect the company, both my boss and the client lash out at me. If I’m lenient and problems later surface or authorities give feedback, I get blamed again. No matter what I do, I’m wrong.
