As for me, I prefer to buy $iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF(SGOV)$ which has a robust 3.6% yield divided into monthly payments. This is because SGOV strictly holds ultra short term US Treasury bills that mature in less than 90 days. If interest rates spike tomorrow, SGOV's share price stays completely flat, shielding my capital from any market selloff.
