Need to vent because my work life has turned into a circus. 🎪

There’s this woman at my office who has made it her life mission to test my patience. She calls me repeatedly during my busiest meetings for trivial stuff, and when I ignore it, she throws around petty snide comments like "Looks like you're controlling the boss these days."

She pulled the ultimate hypocrite move today—asked a question in our group meeting, and the second I opened my mouth to respond, she put her hand up and said "Wait wait, let me finish, please be respectful." My blood was boiling.

But the cherry on top? She saw me go into the restroom, ran over, and aggressive-banged on my stall door telling me to hurry up. I literally froze.

The worst part of all this? I brought it up to my boss, and my boss is totally useless—won't stand up to her at all. Everyday I’m fighting the urge to completely snap. How do you guys deal with toxic colleagues when management refuses to do anything?

Oooo... office infighting and politics... Enjoy it while it lasts... sounds simply curry favours for the boss' attention. I have not seen this for a long time and if I am not wrong, it's more prevalence among female staff. Just got to stand up for yourselves. If boss can't handle, what about HR, if you have one? You should still enjoy it though. It just means you are popular with your bosses and attract jealousy. Sounds good, 😊 huh? 😉 If even HR is useless, take matters into your own hands. Let your boss know in advance (since you are popular, quite sure he will "understand") that you are going to let your colleague have a piece of your mind... Have fun 😊 and keep us posted how it goes! If it evolved into a fight, walk away before it happens... good luck 🤞🏻
