Demand artificially increased by subsidies is not sustainable. Already we hear people complaining about "fare hike" when in actuality fare is merely edging closer to market price through more accurate pricing.
People already making noise with pricing that seek to cover operating cost, profit sounds far fetched.
Profitability means moving away from subsidising services and that will lead to a massive drop off in users.
