Another day, another update on NIO's progress with regards to it Battery-As-A-Service venture. Imagine BaaS as a self sustainable business (and NIO's additional revenue stream) when other EVs tap on this available infrastructure, with ultimate aim of enhancing its own customers" EV experience. Win-win situation, no?
Incidentally update couldn't have been announced at a more appropriate time; not especially after the scandal-laced Grizzly report released on 28 Jun.
While investors and stock exchanges awaits a thorough and investigative report to be published and formally submitted to all 3 Boards where NIO is listed, setting up a stage that may lead to legal persue (and hoped they do) , its good to know and learn that NIO and its partners are transparent in their endeavours to build a lifestyle brand from the grounds up.
It is hoped too that NIO management team learnt through this setback that hardwork alone is not going to win critics and naysayers over, when intent is to cause reputation n brand equity damage, with the hope of profiteering in the process.
It is thru consistent updates /inform and public engagement to keep information out there so that no lies will be able to shake investors confidence.
