I doubt Elon Musk's offer price for $Twitter(TWTR)$will be acceptable to its board, which may reject it on the basis that the offer significantly undervalues the company. Existing shareholders who might have bought their shares at much higher costs than the offer price would also be reluctant to accept the offer. In fact, the closing price right after the offer announcement has priced in considerable uncertainty that the deal can be closed, though it offers arbitrage opportunities to traders willing to bet on the eventual closure. As the offer is final, it will not be revised upward. Given that it is non-binding and the changing behaviour of Elon Musk, he may walk away from his offer too.

# Will Musk's bid to buy Twitter succeed?

I’ll not buy Twitter now, as there’s high risk the deal will not go through. If it does, and he has to sell some Telsa shares to fund the deal, I’ll consider to buy Telsa if its price drops low enough

I think those that bought at high price last year are stuck. the high price was market wide, not due to $Twitter(TWTR)$ value. they are better off selling $Twitter(TWTR)$ and buying other stocks

A very sensible thought on Elon Musk's hostile bid for Twitter. [Observation]
