AMZN’s Short Term Pain VS Long Term Gain

Quick scalp with 12% gain. AMZN is now hanging on a strong support just before the big week ahead. Need a break above 90 for calls or taking puts under 88.5 on Monday. No tigger, no trade as market likely to chop before the big CPI reading on Tuesday leading to FOMC on Wednesday.

Retail remains its top revenue source, with third-party seller services and Amazon Web Services (AWS) being the next big sources. Revenue stream for Q3 FY22 hit $127.1B, a 14.7% increase Y/Y%

The Pentagon splits its $9 billion cloud computing contracts (through 2028) early last week. The breakdown for the various winners are:

• $AMZN AWS.

• $GOOG Google.

• $MSFT Microsoft.

• $ORCL Oracle.
