Plans for S&P500

The S&P500 Sell fell more than 1% last night as recession fears kicked in. There were small fluctuations at the start but this gave way to grim reality. Of note, Tesla fought hard to stay above $110. It was like a boxing match between bears and bulls. For me, it was just a show. I had no wish to enter and make it pay per view because Tesla's share price is based too much on market sentiment (I wouldn't touch it if even Elon Musk's assurance didn't work, not for now).

Additionally, tech stocks continued to fall. What surprised me most is the fact that $Amazon.com(AMZN)$  is very much lower than $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ Sell at $81, while google is around $88. The last time this happened was when stocks crashed mid last year. That was when one of the bottoms hit, before Amazon shot up again. This could be a possible chance to profit from Amazon, if... You can find the bottom.

For U.S. stocks in general, I will still be waiting for Grab and always watching Tesla. It had a bit of a rebound yesterday but it was overall flat. This could signal a bit of a bottom.

Plans for STI

My plans for today is to wait in anticipation for some of the stocks in the $Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$ to fall. The STI has been tanking some of the global effects and has been rather flat. This characteristic is similar to last year during COVID but I expect it will be affected in some way. This means bargain hunting but again, this may last over a week or 2. I expect good things over a week or 2 as the new year is ushered in, especially Chinese New Year. This is of course barring sudden global shocks like war.

Stocks that I will look at are: $DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD(D05.SI)$ UOB, Singapore Airlines. I am hoping to get a bargain on some so let's wait and see.

I think we may see DBS falling below $34 but ending at $34. Overall, the market will be flat in balance of the new year but overall macro conditions.
