Bilibili's Net Loss and Strategies for Improvement
Bilibili's 2022 financial report shows a net loss of 7.5 billion yuan. In my opinion, this is mainly due to the severe outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in China and the economic slowdown caused by the pandemic response, which led to a significant decrease in advertising revenue. Additionally, the delay in the release of Bilibili's gaming platform, due to its transition to a new system, further affected the company's revenue. Although the stock price has rebounded since last October due to China's continuous optimization of epidemic prevention measures, it is still down 90% from its historic high. I believe the reason why investors are hesitant to invest heavily in Bilibili is the issue of the company's financial losses. First, the company needs to address this problem to regain investors' confidence in Bilibili.
Given the current trend of ChatGPT, I think Bilibili should consider integrating its system with ChatGPT's artificial intelligence to attract more viewers, users, and advertisers to use Bilibili's platform. Bilibili also needs to optimize its platform regularly to enhance its competitiveness in the market, which will help it stand out among its peers. Moreover, Bilibili can consider developing games similar to ChatGPT's, as there is still a lack of games related to ChatGPT on the market. As ChatGPT has high potential in the field of the Internet, Bilibili needs to plan and develop related products early to consolidate its market position in the technology industry. This is what will help Bilibili win the race at the starting line.
At present, Bilibili's development is very limited, mainly relying on the domestic market. It is difficult for it to enter the foreign market because of Google's YouTube, which dominates the market share. Bilibili's difficulty in establishing a foothold in the foreign market is its disadvantage. As for Bilibili's financial losses, the solution lies in relying on the overseas market. However, given the current situation where countries abroad are highly concerned about national security regulations, TikTok is currently affected in foreign markets. This makes it challenging for Bilibili to develop its overseas business. Currently, it can only appear in the domestic market.
I believe that investors are currently skeptical about investing in Bilibili. Without seeing Bilibili's ability to improve its financial losses, investors are hesitant to invest. The company's performance has not given me sufficient confidence to invest. I believe that seasoned investors share my opinion because they need to see more solid evidence before investing.

The company is continuously expanding its content categories and improving its user experience. Bilibili has also made a strategic investment in Kuaishou to help expand its market share.
Weaknesses: Bilibili is highly dependent on the domestic market, which limits its ability to expand overseas. The company's financial losses have eroded investors' confidence, making it challenging to raise capital.
Opportunities: Bilibili can explore opportunities in overseas markets and further expand its content categories. The company can also integrate its platform with artificial intelligence technology to enhance its competitiveness.
Threats: Bilibili faces strong competition from other video-sharing platforms, such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and YouTube. The company is also subject to strict regulations in China, which can limit its growth and market share.
