To The Moon

Been looking at this $JARDINE CYCLE & CARRIAGE LTD(C07.SI)$ and quite surprised recently the stock price as strong as $DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD(D05.SI)$ at the moment both almost the same price however market cap DBS is so much bigger, 83B vs 12B, and notice the float DBS is bigger too 59B vs 2.9B.

As per Investopedia.com, A company's float is an important number for investors because it indicates how many shares are actually available to be bought and sold by the general investing public. Low float is typically an impediment to active trading. The float percentage could be different for each, traders have different preferences for float percentage. However, most traders look for a percentage between 10% and 25%.

A stock with a small float will generally be more volatile than a stock with a large float. This is because, with fewer shares available, it may be harder to find a buyer or seller. This results in larger spreads and often lower volume, i can relate because :

Jardine C&C 52wk high 36.85 and 52wk low24.

DBS 52wk high 35.39 and 52wk low 28.

So which one better for long term holding ? 

I will still consider to buy back Jardine C&C if it goes to low level again, however at the same price level, will consider DBS. Just personal opinion, my decision maybe wrong, only time will tell. Not investment advice ❤️
